Vietnamese Rain Cup
The Tay Tạo Rain Cup has been hand-carved, hand-sanded and hand-polished by Vietnamese artisans in a traditional craft village.
In Vietnam large pots are placed outside the home to catch rain-water and these wooden cups are hung close by to scoop water for drinking.
The cup's smooth lines mean it feels lovely in the hand. Ideal for children to use in sensory play. It may also be used as a cup, a scoop, a décor piece or as a lovely dish to hold coins or jewellery.
Dimensions: 15cm x 7.5cm x 6cm. Includes strip of leather for hanging.
Made from Rubberwood, a Vietnamese plantation timber. Finished with food-grade vegetable oil.
